Help fund the future for free

Welcome to the SciCart organization. SciCart was created as an novel bridge between everyday essential shopping and high-impact scientific research. Our model is straightforward: when you shop for your daily essentials through our e-commerce affiliate links, we earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. We proudly pledge to allocate 99% of our post-tax affiliate revenue directly to high-impact science-related charities and nonprofits, reserving just 1% to sustain our core operations. To ensure total transparency, we publish all donation receipts on our [Donation Receipt Ledger] page. Explore our curated product recommendations below to support vital scientific initiatives through your regular purchases. Below you will find supported e-commerce platforms:

Our current Nonprofit Portfolio

We have vetted science-related nonprofits for maximum transparency, results, and high impactfulness. Below you will see our nonprofit portfolio with links to each of their own sites if you would like to learn more or donate directly. Our site is only here for people to help fund the future at no extra cost to themselves.

The Salk Institute for Biological Studies (15% Allocation)

The Salk Institute has a core mission to drive foundational, collaborative, risk-taking research that addresses society’s most pressing challenges. Frontier research in aging, cancer, neuroscience, immunology, genetics, plant biology, and computational biology. 10% allocation

The Rockefeller University (15% Allocation)

Rockefeller’s overarching mission is to conduct groundbreaking science for the benefit of humanity. Its laboratories investigate complex biological problems spanning neurosciences, immunology, genetics, physics, and computational biology.

The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard (15% Allocation)

The Broad Institute’s core mission is to discover the root causes of all common and rare diseases and to use that knowledge to create safe and effective therapeutic interventions. Genomics, genetics, computational biology, CRISPR, and disease research.

The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) (15% Allocation)

CRI-funded programs emphasize cutting-edge tech, including personalized cancer vaccines, engineered T-cell therapies (like CAR T-cells), CRISPR gene-editing applications, and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning into oncology research.

The Buck Institute for Research on Aging (5% Allocation)

The Buck Institute treats aging itself as the primary risk factor for major chronic conditions (such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cancer, and heart disease). By intervening in fundamental aging mechanisms, they aim to prevent or delay multiple age-related diseases simultaneously.

The Innovative Genomics Institute (IGI) (5% Allocation)

IGI was founded by CRISPR pioneers to discover, develop, and apply revolutionary genome-editing tools such as CRISPR to find affordable and next-generation solutions in areas such as human health and disease, environmental applications, and in agricultural utilization.

The Good Food Institute (GFI) (5% Allocation)

The Good Food Institute funds and builds an R&D ecosystem around plant-based, fermentation, and cultivated-food technologies, with potential implications for food production and agriculture. These technologies are important for reducing emissions and improving access to protein-rich foods.

The National Water Research Institute (5% Allocation)

The National Water Research Institute supports research and development aimed at improving water quality, developing new water sources, conservation, and water efficiency. Access to fresh water is and will be even more so a critical issue in the future. Fresh water access is a major risk to numerous aspects of society.

The Woodwell Climate Research Center (5% Allocation)

The Woodwell Climate Research Center conducts climate research involving carbon, ecosystems, Arctic systems, water, climate impacts, and future solutions. Climate change is a significant and emerging challenge that effects all aspects of human civilization. Understanding climate risks allows society to prepare and develop solutions.

The XPRIZE Foundation (5% Allocation)

XPRIZE uses large incentive prizes to encourage teams to solve difficult technological problems across areas including health, food, water, energy, and exploration. This model is unique compared to traditional nonprofits that use grant and other models to fund research.

The Universities Space Research Association (5% Allocation)

The USRA brings universities, government agencies, and industry together to advance space and aeronautics research. USRA conducts and supports research in space science, aeronautics, engineering, and advanced technologies. Invests in the next generation of space scientists.

The Foresight Institute (5% Allocation)

The Foresight Institute focuses on frontier science and technologies that may have enormous long-term consequences but are still too early, interdisciplinary, or unconventional for traditional institutions. Its current focus areas include secure AI, neurotechnology, longevity biotechnology, nanotechnology, space, and “existential hope.”
